The Biomedical and Genome Science Initiative

AT a time when the integration of 72 government research institutes into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is not yet complete, the Health Ministry has established the Biomedical and Genome Science Initiative (BGSi). The establishment of the BGSi is clearly at odds with the enthusiasm for integrating all research bodies into one that was proclaimed by the government when it formed BRIN.
