The three soldiers who allegedly killed a civilian should be tried in a criminal court. The Military Courts Law needs to be revised.
THE three soldiers suspected of kidnapping and killing Imam Masykur, a youth from Bireuen, Aceh, must be tried in a criminal court. Although they are members of the Indonesian Military (TNI), they are accused of committing a criminal offence—and therefore should not be tried in a military court.
