It is time the law enforcement authorities acknowledge that sexual violence cases cannot be subject to restorative justice approach.

THE implementation of restorative justice by the police lately often gives rise to injustice. A recent investigation by the National Commission for Child Protection found that many incidents of sexual violence are resolved using this approach, even before the cases come to court.
