THE police foiled an attempt to smuggle 17.4 tons of subsidized diesel oil. Chief spokesman for the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Adj. Sr. Comr. Herry Subiansauri, revealed this on Monday last week. The oil was seized from the Mitra Abadi ship carrying 30 drums and three 2-ton plastic containers.
