Dressed in a sleeveless t-shirt and jeans, this smiling figure does not resemble the stereotypical serious scientist. Scientists can also relax and hang out at the mall, said Johny Setiawan.
Johny, 32, is a senior astronomer at the Max-Planck Institut fur Astronomie (MPIA), in Germany. He leads the SERAM (Search for Exoplanets with Radial-velocity At MPIA) project, which searches for planets outside our solar system.
