THE networks of Indomaret and Alfamart supermarkets fiercely compete with each other to attract customers. And so is the case with the giant retailers Carrefour and Giant that claim to be the cheapest. Despite fighting on the market, they have something in common over the last six months: the plastic bags they give to the customers to hold their purchase have the lettering “This bag will disintegrate itself.”
