We often witness this scene: people in a city bus all sitting with their mobile phones busy playing games or who knows what. They are not sensing being together with others within that crowded space.
We often witness this scene: people in a city bus all sitting with their mobile phones busy playing games or who knows what. They are not sensing being together with others within that crowded space.
In the bus, the mobile phone presents the paradox of technology. It reminds me of the way technology is hailed in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel, Bumi Manusia (This Earth of Mankind).
