The very best parliament can resemble a tofu factory. It stinks. Picture this factory: in the kitchen, piles of soy beans crushed with bare feet (scabied heels, quite likely), crushed fine, then mixed with water turning into slime. Not surprising, then, that the word "tofu" comes from the Chinese toufu, fu meaning rotten.
