Over 19 public organizations have formed an alliance to oppose groups committing violence in the name of Islam.

THIRTY young men from various organizations, grouped under the Alliance of Indonesian Youths to Save the Nation, met last Wednesday at a cafe in East Jakarta. Their eyes were focused on laptops on the table. On the computers was a documentary film on violence by groups claiming to act in the name of Islam.

The film will be distributed for free. So that people gain courage to fight the violence that is threatening our harmony, said Mohammad Guntur
