No Electricity in Relief Homes
A NUMBER of houses built by Melteser, a German NGO, for tsunami victims in Lancok village, Syamtalira Bayu district, North Aceh, turn out to have been provided with no electricity connection. As a result, the locals must use pressurized kerosene lamps at night. Today, some tsunami victims have to illegally get electricity connection directly from electricity posts owned by the State Electricity Company, PLN.
