THE Dutch Minister for Development Cooperation, Agnes van Ardenne-van der Hoeven was in Aceh last week to observe the progress of the post-tsunami rehabilitation and reconstruction projects. The Government of the Netherlands has contributed US$100 million to the World Bank-administered Multi Donor Fund (MDF) for the recovery of Aceh and Nias. An additional contribution of US$73 million will be used by the MDF to further its efforts.
