Rice Prices Up

THE rice prices in some regions have started to soar again. In Solo, the price of the IR-64-type rice of the lowest quality increased to Rp5,500 per kilo last week. In Manado, the price of a similar type of rice even shot up to Rp7,000 when normally the price of rice of this type is about Rp4,000 per kilogram.
