WE are scared. This was what oil and gas workers in the North Natuna Sea told Dwi Soetjipto, head of the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Special Task Force (SKK Migas), when he requested oil drilling companies in the area to establish intensive communication channels. 

Dwi's request came mainly after the Chinese government sent a letter protesting oil exploration activities in the North Natuna Sea by Premier Oil Tuna BV mid this year. T
