BPK Members’ Inclination to Corruption
The selection process for BPK members is under scrutiny following multiple instances of its leaders being implicated in corruption cases. The selection process is deemed to be lax.

THE alleged corruption case involving Bank Indonesia’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds has implicated members of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). Alexander Marwata, Deputy Chair of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), stated that the case has entered the investigation stage. “Suspects will be named once investigators have sufficient evidence during the investigation,” Alex said on Tuesday, August 27.
