Fire in the Chandiri Block
A fire at Tangerang Prison exposes a number of issues. There are indications that guards were not present at the site of the incident.

THE wailing of the prison siren can be heard from inside the Tangerang Class IA Correctional Facility, Banten, on early Wednesday, September 8. Bells could be heard three times, indicating a fire. A moment earlier, at 1:45am, a guard in the tower saw the fire raging in Chandiri 2 or C2 Block of the Tangerang Prison.
