The Maldives Special Envoy for Climate Change Sabra Ibrahim Noordeen discusses how serious the impacts of climate change to her country that have 1,190 islands.
RESEARCHERS suggested that at least 80 percent of the world’s land area and 85 percent of the world population have been affected by climate change. This condition could get worse if there are no serious actions taken. Different scientists predict sea levels could rise by as much as 1.1 meters by 2100.
