TWO decades is not enough to restore damages due to sea sand dredging in the Tanjung Balai Karimun Regency, Riau Province. Not only is the coast damaged, but the small surrounding islands are suffering abrasion because the sand continues to be dredged. Amirullah, head of the Andalan Riau Fishermen Association, said he has been worried following the issuance of the Government Regulation (PP) No. 26/2023 regarding managing sea sedimentation products
