OVER a dozen kyais (Islamic clerics) gathered at the house of Imam Bukhori, caretaker of the Ibnu Cholil Islamic Boarding School, in Jalan Halim Perdanakusuma, Bangkalan Regency, East Java, on September 29. They were receiving Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, one of Prabowo Subianto’s potential running mates, in the sitting room.
