ESTABLISHED in the Cangkorah hamlet, Padalarang, Bandung Regency, West Java, Namasindo Plas pioneered the plastic waste recycling industry in Indonesia by producing drinking bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Betsi Pelangi, Namasindo Plas Corporate Service officer, said that the company entered the plastic bottle recycling business when its owner was offered a preform bottle manufacturing machine by suppliers.
