PNM Iniates the ‘Cinta Mekaar' Learning Facility

Working together with Bank Permata Syariah and the Subang Regency Government, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) initiated the Cinta Mekaar Smart Room learning facility in Cintamekar Village, Serangpanjang District, Subang Regency on Friday, August 26, 2022. The inauguration was carried out by the PNM Subang Branch Manager, Jimi Firmansyah.

The Smart Room in Cintamekar Village was built to facilitate the children of PNM Mekaar customers and the surrounding community to study and perform other online activities. This Smart Room has several supporting infrastructures, such as laptops, internet access, nutrition packages, school bags, books, stationery, and uniforms. Through the Smart Room which is provided for 1 year, PNM has contributed to educate underprivileged communities who have difficulty in online learning, especially in Cintamekar Village. "With this Smart Room, we intend to help the parents in reducing their expenses used for their children’s distance learning," said Jimi.

This activity was also attended by the Regent of Subang, Ruhimat; the Deputy Regent of Subang, Agus Masykur Rosadi; Head of DPMPTS Subang Regency, Dadang Kurnianudin; Head of the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Sumarna; Serangpanjang District Head, Agus Hermawan; Sagalaherang Police Chief, IPTU Irpan Taufik Firmansyah; Danramil 0504/Sagalaherang, Captain Inf. Ernawan; and the Head of Cintamekar Village, Suherlan Sahbana.

Until August 26, 2022, PNM has distributed financing of Rp137.61 trillion to PNM Mekaar's customers, totaling 12.5 million customers. Currently, PNM has 3,500 PNM Mekaar service offices and 624 PNM ULaMM service offices throughout Indonesia serving MSMEs in 34 provinces, 443 regencies/cities, and 5,640 districts. (*)
