Campus Admission Bribery Scandal

The Corruption Eradication Commission arrests the rector and some top officials at Lampung University in bribery case involving student admissions. Corruption is still rife on campus.

OVER a dozen investigators of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) moved on two homes owned by Karomani, Rector of Lampung University (Unila), on Wednesday, August 24. Some officers from the Lampung Police Department’s Mobile Brigade joined them. They were looking for evidence in the case of new student admissions bribery at Unila that implicated Karomani and some university officials.
