The Kick-off Event of 30,000 SOE MSMEs Go Online

As many as 30,000 SOE-fostered MSMEs received training and NIB certificates. The training was held gradually from August to October. #Infotempo
Minister of State-owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, was present in the kick-off event of 30,000 SOE MSMEs Go Online held at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, August 29, 2022. On that occasion, Erick emphasized the importance of MSMEs in the national economy constellation. MSMEs have opened many job opportunities in Indonesia.
“The world has significantly changed now, if we don’t adapt, don’t understand digital, consequently, we won’t make any progress. Because this digital era has changed the type of business and jobs. We need to support each other, otherwise we merely will just become spectators, especially in this digital era like nowadays” said Erick.
SOE MSMEs Go Online is the realization of what Erick stated. In this event, as many as 30,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises, including 600 customers of PNM Mekaar, received a business registration number (NIB) and participated in a business sharing session by the owners of MSMEs that have gone international.
In addition, online free training and assistance were given to 30,000 SOE MSMEs owners throughout Indonesia. This training involved experts in the ecommerce sector to encourage SOE-fostered MSMEs to market their products online and to optimize MSMEs performance.
The training which aims at improving MSMEs owners’ skills to run a model business of their enterprises is given gradually for 3 months starting from August to October.
As of 29th August 2022, PNM has distributed Rp137.77 trillion of finance to 12.5 million PNM Mekaar customers. Nowadays, PNM has 3,500 PNM Mekaar service offices and 624 PNM UlaMM service offices across Indonesia. These offices provide services to MSMEs in 34 provinces, 443 regencies/cities, and 5,640 districts.
