THE European Union has been ramping up various efforts to address climate change. After issuing a number of environmental policies, such as the Nature Restoration Law to restore the damaged ecosystems, it launched a new draft regulation aimed at reducing deforestation and forest degradation through due diligence for operators supplying certain products to their market.
