Firli Bahuri in the Police-KPK Conflict

A CASE review meeting held at the Red and White Building of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in Kuningan, South Jakarta, turned heated on Thursday morning, November 23. KPK Deputy Chairman Nawawi Pomolango objected to Firli Bahuri’s presence at the meeting. He believed that Firli should have been immediately suspended since he had been announced as a suspect by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Wednesday night, November 22.
