SHORTLY before leaving the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) detention facility at the Merah Putih (Red and White) Building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, around July 2023, Petrus Bala Pattyona met with a uniformed officer in batik at the exit door.
