Suspected Illegal Sand Mining for the Yogyakarta Toll Road Project

The Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road project is allegedly built using illegal sandstone. It has come to the attention of the KPK and the Presidential Staff.

AFTER signing a contract with Adhi Karya in early 2022, Fajar Abadi Putra Director A. Faisal started going after material supply around the Yogyakarta area. The cooperation requires Fajar Abadi to supply fill soil for the section 1 and 6 of the development of the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road project, priced at Rp81,000 (around US$5.6) per cubic.
