SPEAKING in a closed meeting on Thursday, January 27, Utut Adianto, Deputy Chair of the Defense Commission of the House of Representatives (DPR), proposed the extension of the retirement age of Indonesian Military (TNI) personnel. In the presence of Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and three TNI chiefs of staff, he compared the age of military retirement with those in the civil service.
