THAT the religious affairs ministry revoked the operating permit of Majma’al Bahrain Hubbul Wathon Minal Iman Shiddiqiyyah Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren), only to reinstate it later shows how fickle the government is in dealing with the matter. The decision also indicates that the ministry simply wanted to give the impression that it had acted, while in reality, it had failed to diagnose the root of the issue.
