MONKEYPOX, a disease endemic to West and Central Africa, has spread quickly, leading experts to ask the Indonesian government to move quickly to tighten and keep an eye on travel and animal trade. Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) indicates that this disease has spread to 96 countries.

As of Thursday, August 25, the highest number of monkeypox cases are found in six countries, namely the United States with 15,877 cases and no deaths,
