IF all goes well, five years from now, Indonesia will have a hydropower plant (PLTA) capable of generating 1,040 megawatts (MW) of electricity. The Upper Cisokan Pumped Storage PLTA, currently under construction, will be the largest capacity power plant, replacing the Cirata PLTA, West Java, which generates 1,008 MW.
