Three Guardians of Academic Integrity

The late Faisal Basri, Sigit Riyanto, and Hariadi Kartodihardjo were three academics who always upheld academic integrity.

THE sad news came in a short span of time. Faisal Basri, a senior economist and lecturer at the University of Indonesia had passed away in Jakarta on September 5, 2024. Sigit Riyanto, Professor of International Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), passed away on August 21, 2024. Meanwhile, Hariadi Kartodihardjo, Professor of Forestry Policy at IPB University, passed away in Bogor, West Java, on June 2, 2024.
