The government will make changes to the salary and benefits system for retired civil servants. The budget burden to pay pensioner salaries has become heavier. An option is to form a new institution to manage civil servants' pension funds.

DISCUSSIONS about the salary scheme for retired civil servants between the Finance Ministry and the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (PAN-RB) have not yet commenced. However, the ministry's deputy for Human Resources and Apparatus Alex Denni, said the contents to be discussed have been put on for brewing since August.
