Indonesia’s Wealth

INDONESIA is blessed with extraordinary natural resources. In addition to the heyday of oil and minerals, we are now enjoying the heyday of nickel. But, like oil and minerals, only a few people enjoy it. The oil boom led to corruption at Pertamina. Our mineral wealth enriched New Orleans, the United States of America, where Freeport is headquartered. Papua remains underdeveloped.

Nickel is likely to be the same. Nickel
