The humanitarian organization Aksi Cepat Tanggap falls into a financial crisis due to mismanagement and various instances of embezzlement. Tempo’s investigation since January points to money transfers from the organization’s business units to its executives.
AFTER 17 years leading Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT, Fast Response Action), an organization that manages public funds for humanitarian efforts, Ahyudin stepped down on January 11. But the founder of ACT only announced his resignation on his Facebook account, under Ahyudin Gmc, in mid-April. “For reasons that I deeply regret and am concerned about,” Ahyudin wrote.
