Investigations into Syahrul Yasin Limpo’s Suspected Crimes

The KPK named Syahrul Yasin Limpo a suspect in extortion, gratuities and money laundering. He felt that he was extorted by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, who purportedly asked for money to stop the investigation.

EVEN though Syahrul Yasin Limpo submitted a letter tendering his resignation as Minister of Agriculture to President Joko Widodo on Thursday, October 5, he was still available to appoint Fadjry Jufri as Head of the Agricultural Instrument Standardization Agency (BSIP). Fadjry’s appointment to that position took place on Friday afternoon, October 6, at the BSIP Building in Cimanggu, Bogor, West Java.
