MUHAMMAD Syahrial, the mayor of Tanjungbalai, greeted Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Deputy Chair Lili Pintauli Siregar in mid-air. They were on the same Batik Air flight going from Kualanamu Airport, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, towards Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten, in February 2020. This meeting marked the beginning of Lili’s entanglement in a code of ethics violation case at the KPK Supervisory Council.
