THE long wait of I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati for an official invitation from the House of Representatives (DPR) to deliberate and pass the Sexual Violence (TPKS) Bill ended in disappointment. The minister of women’s empowerment and child protection had just received a notice about it the day before the scheduled passing of the Sexual Violence Bill on Tuesday, February 22.
