A recidivist kidnapped 13 children in Bogor, South Tangerang, and Jakarta by masquerading as a police officer. He once claimed to be a terrorist convict involved in the Sarinah bombing.

MASQUERADING as a police officer assigned to the Covid-19 Mitigation Task Force, Rizal Afif alias Abi approached a child, identified with the initial F, who did not wear a face mask in Kemang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Saturday afternoon, May 7. Afif told the 11-year-old to hop onto a motorcycle to be brought to the police station. Instead of an actual police station, the 27-year-old man brought F to Jakarta.
