THE Indonesian government has again increased its target for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This commitment is included in the nationally determined contribution that will be presented at the COP27 climate conference in Egypt at the beginning of November. However, this target will only be useful if it is accompanied by a real and transparent program to control emissions.
