A DISCUSSION regarding Government Regulation (PP) No. 26/2023 on the sea sediment management held in Batam, Riau Islands, on Thursday, June 8, heated up. Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono repeated the words from that regulation regarding the export of sea sand being the last option. He emphasized that the government is prioritizing the management of sea sediment for domestic land reclamation projects.
