The Modes of Corruption in LPEI Export Financing

The KPK has yet to resolve the LPEI corruption case despite handling it since 2023. Of the 10 suspects, only one is in detention.

NEARLY two years into the investigation, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has only revealed the roles of two debtors in the corruption case involving the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI). The estimated state losses amount to Rp11.7 trillion (around US$713.4 million). Meanwhile, the KPK plans to investigate a total of 11 debtor companies.
