I WAS moved and impressed by Ayu Utami’s article titled Revolution in Tempo’s Marginalia section of the March 10-16, 2025 edition. With subtlety and finesse, Ayu quips at Budiman Sudjatmiko, once the symbol of fearless and idealistic youth, who is now “aligned with the government,” which is not merely reinstating the military’s dual function but expanding it into multiple roles.
